| Catalog # | I8432-25A | | Applications | ELISA Capture: Purified monoclonal antibody is the preferred capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying human and/or viral IL-10 proteins.1-5 Purified antibody should be paired with biotinylated monoclonal antibody as the detection antibody, with purified recombinant human IL-10 as the standard. | | Immunofluorescence/Flow Cytometry: The antibody is useful for intracytoplasmic staining and flow cytometric analysis to identify and enumerate IL-10-positive cells within mixed cell populations. Recombinant human IL-10 or unlabeled Rat IgG1 should be used as a specificity control. | | Western Blotting: The purified antibody is also useful for Western blotting applications. A concentration of 1-5ug/ml (in conjunction with AP-labeled Goat Anti-Rat-Ig) has been found to enable detection of 100 ng/lane of recombinant human IL-10 under reducing conditions. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
