| Recombinant Interleukin-12p40 comprises a 306 amino acid fragment (23-328) corresponding to the mature Interleukin-12p40 chain protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. | | | Catalog # | I8434-31C | | Active IL-12 is a p70 disulfide-linked dimer composed of p35 and p40 subunits. The protein is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by antigen presenting cells and has multiple effects on T lymphocytes and natural killer cells in terms of stimulating cytotoxicity, proliferation, production of other cytokines and Th1 subset differentiation. | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | | | Recommended Dilution: | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
