| Recombinant Interleukin-15 comprises a 114 amino acid fragment (49-162) corresponding to the mature Interleukin-15 protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. | | | Catalog # | I8437D | | Interleukin-15 is a potent immunoregulatory cytokine produced by a variety of cell types including monocytes, epithelial cells and fibroblasts. IL-15 shares many of its biological properties with IL-2 including T, B and NK cell stimulation and has also been demonstrated to promote division of CD8 memory cells and activate IL4 production in bone marrow-derived mast cells. | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | | | Recommended Dilution: | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
