IL-17B R is the second identified receptor for the IL-17 family of cytokines. IL-17B R binds strongly to IL-17E and binds weakly to IL-17B, but does not bind IL-17, IL-17C, or IL-17F. It is a transmembrane protein expressed in a wide variety of tissues.
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells from K562 human chronic myelogeneous leukemia cell line. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to Arg18-Gly289 from human Interleukin IL-17BR extracellular domain, expressed in NS0 cells.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in saline, 0.5% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from hybridoma culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human Interleukin 17BR extracellular domain. Does not crossreact with recombinant mouse IL-17RB or recombinant human or mouse IL-17R.
