It exists as a heterodimer composed of the IL-12 p40 subunit and a novel p19 subunit (2). IL-23 is secreted by activated dendritic cells, macrophages, and monocytes. | | | Catalog # | I8443-40D | | Produced in HEK 293 cells. Mature human IL-23 (interleukin-23) p40 peptide (aa23-328) is fused at the C-terminus to a 18aa linker peptide, GSTSGSGKPGSGEGSTKG and to the mature p19 peptide (aa20-189) and fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG®-tag. | | Biological Activity | Induction of IL-17 secretion by mouse splenocytes. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
