Monoclonal Mouse Affinity Purified E IH FC
IL-24, also known as Melanoma Differentation-Associated gene 7 (MDA-7), is an IL-10 family cytokine produced by melanocytes and cells of the immune system. It functions to suppress tumor growth, induce apoptosis, and inhibit angiogenesis by signaling through the heterodimeric receptors IL-22 R alpha/IL-20 R beta and IL-20 R alpha/IL-20 R beta.
Catalog #I8443-55
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry: 25ug/ml detects IL-24 in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. 10ul labels 1-5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume 200ul. For intracellular staining, cells must first be fixed and permeabilized using 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.1% saponin in PBS. Following a 30 minute incubation with I8443-55, cells should be washed with 0.1% saponin prior to addition of a secondary developing reagent. The binding of unlabeled monoclonal antibodies may be visualized by adding 10ul of a 25ug/ml solution of a secondary developing reagent such as goat anti-mouse IgG conjugated to a fluorochrome. Cells should be washed for a final time in 0.1% saponin prior to flow cytometric analysis.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
HybridomaFusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, rhIL-24.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
