Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Quality Control Testing Immunoblot Analysis A 1:1000 dilution of this lot detected phospho-IRS1 (Tyr1179) in RIPA lysates from insulin stimulated IRS1 transfected CHO cells. Untreated (Lane 1) or insulin treated (Lanes 2 and 3) lysates from CHO cells transfected with IRS11 were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with anti-phospho-IRS1 (Tyr1179) for 2 hours at room temperature. Lane 3 was preincubated with the blocking peptide immunogen corresponding to phospho-IRS1 (Tyr1179). Proteins were visualized via HRP and chemiluminescent detection. Arrow indicates phospho-IRS1.
