Junctional Adhesion Molecule 2 (JAM 2) is a novel junctional adhesion molecule and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily molecules. The JAM 2 transcript is highly expressed during embryogenesis and is detected in lymph node and Peyer’s patches RNA of adult mice. JAM 2 participates in interendothelial junctional complexes.

Recommended DilutionFlow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul

HybridomaSp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized Fischer rats.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

SpecificityRecognizes mouse JAM 2. Species Crossreactivity: human. In adult murine tissue, expression is reported to be restricted to high endothelial venules of lymphoid organs, lymphoendothelial cells and endothelial cells in kidney. In humans, CD322 expression is not restricted to endothelial cells, but is also expressed on human lymphocytes.
