ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Supershift. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry: 1ug/ml gives positive nuclear immunostaining for Kaiso in NIH 3T3 cells fixed with 100% methanol.
Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects Kaiso in RIPA lysates from 3T3/A31 cells.
Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug immunoprecipitates Kaiso from RIPA lysates from NIH 3T3 cells.
Supershift: Supershifts a specific methyl-CpG complex.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Antigen ControlF4209: 3T3/A31 cell lysate. Add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for minigels.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
