Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Purified IH
Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single light chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Immunoglobulin bearing Kappa light chains are present on about 60% of normal B lymphocytes.
Catalog #K0090-09A
This antibody can be used for detecting surface immunoglobulin on normal and neoplastic B cells in tissues. Extracellular Ig kappa light chains may also be stained. Kappa chain antibodies are useful for the identification of leukemias, some non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas and plasmacytomas.
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry: Frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control Tonsil/lymph node
Expected Staining Pattern: Membrane
Epitope Retrieval Not required
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
