| Potassium channel Kv1.2 is one of many different types of potassium channels in the cell. The Kv family of potassium channels seem to have a conserved homotetramer formation consisting of four voltage sensors and one pore domain. Kv1.2 cooperates with cortactin (an actin cytoskeleton-binding protein) and together they may have a part in the regulation of the ionic current. | | | Catalog # | K9001-07D | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | | | Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detects Kv1.2 on 10ug of rat brain membrane tissue lysate. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2b,k | | Clone No | 11C244 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Rat | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 0.1M Tris-Glycine, pH 7.4, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Recombinant protein corresponding to rat Kv1.2.
