Basement membrane components play an important role in cell adhesion, locomotion, differentiation and embryonic compartmentalization. Laminin anchors cells to the basement membrane through interactions with integrins at the cell surface and collagens in the basement membrane.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunoblot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue): 1:25–1:200 using avidin-biotinylated HRP complex as detection reagent.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
