Recommended Dilution	ELISA: 1:11,000 (50% maximal binding to human laminin)
	Immunofluorescence: Tissue staining pattern is most consistent with that observed for laminin a5 in mouse.
	Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity	Recognizes the globular domain of the a5 chain of intact laminin and blocks the neurite stimulating activity of laminin. This antibody was originally thought to recognize laminin alpha 1 or A, but further characterization has confirmed its specificity for the laminin alpha 5 chain. No crossreactivity is observed to mouse or rat laminin.
