| LD78-beta is a 7.8kD protein containing 70 amino acid residues, which is closely related to MIP-1-alpha. LD78-beta has enhanced receptor binding affinities to CCR5 and the beta-chemokine receptor, D6 and has also been shown to exhibit activities in HIV-suppression assays. | | | Catalog # | L1585 | | Source | E.coli | | Form | Sterile-filtered solution was lyophilized without additives | | Stability | The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted LD78-beta should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. | | Purity | 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. | | Endotoxin | 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) | | Reconstitution | We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or at -20°C for future use. | | Biological Activity | Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml. | | AA Sequence | APLAADTPTA CCFSYTSRQI PQNFIADYFE TSSQCSKPSV IFLTKRGRQV CADPSEEWVQ KYVSDLELSA | | Country of Origin | USA | | Molecular Weight | 7.8kD | | Source | Murine | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
