ELISA: To detect hLeptin by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen af nity puri ed antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hLeptin.
Western Blot To detect hLeptin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hLeptin is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Reconstitution The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at-200C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of >0.2mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-40C.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
