ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunocytochemistry: 0.25ug/ml. The ability to bind a leptin in adipocytes was examined in cells xed with neutral buffered formalin. The xed cells were incubated for 20 minutes with 4% normal goat serum, reacted for 60 minutes with the diluted monoclonal antibody and then with FITC-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG.
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, PBS 10mg/ml BSA. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Does not react with Human Epidermal Growth Factor, Insulin, Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, Parathyroid hormone, Transforming Growth Factor-alpha and Rat Insulin-like Growth Factor 2.
