| Leptin (anti-obesity protein) is the product of the ob (obese) gene in mice and is involved in appetite control. The gene is expressed in adipose tissue and it is thought to be important in the regulation of fat stores. Mice of ob/ob genotype develop a form of diabetes similar to type II (non-insulin dependent) diabetes. | | | Catalog # | L1670-07 | | Reconstitution | Lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C.
