ApplicationsSuitable for use in FLISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoflourscence. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionFLISA: 1:100- 1:1000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:1000 on frozen section or formal-fixed paraffin-embedded sections after antigen retrieval.
Immunoflourscence: 1:100-1:1000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

SpecificityHighly specific for Borrelia burdorferi. Cross-reactivity with other Borrelia species has been minimized through extensive affinity adsorption. Has not been tested for crossreactivity to treponemes.
