| Lymphotactin is a newly discovered chemokine that exhibits chemotactic activity toward lymphocytes but not towards monocytes or neutrophils. Human lymphotactin is 10.2kD protein containing 92 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | L8010 | | Source | E. coli | | Purity | > 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. | | Endotoxin | < 0.1ng per ug of lymphotactin. | | Biological Activity | Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml | | Concentration Range for most in vitro applications | 10.0-100 ng/ml | | Responding Cells (partial list) | Lymphocytes | | Form | Lyophilized protein with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film which is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial. | | Reconstitution | We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers. | | Storage and Stability | The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at RT. It is best stored at -20ºC. Reconstituted lymphotactin should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. | | Country of Origin | USA | | Molecular Weight | 10.2kD | | Source | Human | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
