| M-CSF is produced by a wide variety of cells including fibroblasts, monocytes, lymphocytes, osteoblasts, and mesenchymal cells to name a few. It stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells and plays an important role in the life of blood monocytes.
