| Macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) is one of the glycoproteins called colony-stimulating factors (CSFs).A mononuclear phagocyte colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) synthesized by mesenchymal cells. The compound stimulates the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells of the monocyte-macrophage series.
