| Human macrophage inflammatory protein-1ß (MIP-1ß) is an 7.6kD protein containing 69 amino acid residues. It plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages. | | | Catalog # | M1202-32 | | Source | E. coli | | Form | Lyophilized protein with no additives. | | Stability | The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. | | Purity | Greater than 99% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng perug of MIP-1ß. | | Reconstitution | The lyophilized MIP-1ß is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized MIP-1ß can be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored frozen for future use. | | Biological Activity | The maximal chemotactic activity of human MIP-1ß on human blood monocytes was achieved at 50 ng/ml. | | Molecular Weight | 7.6kD | | Responding Cells (partial list) | Monocytes | | Concentration Range for most in vitro applications | 5.0-50 ng/ml | | Molecular Weight | 7.6kD | | Source | Human | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
