Biological ActivityThe biological activity of MIP-5 was determined by measuring its ability to chemoattract human T-lymphocytes. A concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml is found to produce significant chemotaxis. MIP-5, also known as Lkn-1 and SCY A15, is a member of the b chemokine (C-C) family. MIP-5 is a chemoattractant for T-lymphocytes, but not for monocytes and granulocytes.
Endotoxin ~0.1ng/ug
