Specifications

Recombinant Murine JE(MCP-1) is a single,non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 125 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 13803 Dalton.
Catalog #M1203-26
SequenceThe sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Gln-Pro-Asp-Ala-Val.
Dimers and Aggregates 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
Biological ActivityMurine JE(MCP-1)is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The Biological activity is calculated by its ability to chemoattract Balb/C mouse spleen MNCs at 1.0-20.0ng/ml.
Protein ContentProtein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods:
1. UV spectroscopy at 280nm.
2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated solution of Murine JE(MCP-1) as a Reference Standard.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
