| Mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule 1 (MAdCAM-1) is a 60kD cell surface protein that is involved in lymphocyte trafficking. MAdCAM-1 is expressed on high endothelial venules of Peyer's patches and mesenteric lymph nodes. MAdCAM-1 expression has also been reported in the gut lamina propria but clone 10F46 does not recognize MAdCAM-1 in these tissues. Clone 10F46 reacts with the ligand-binding first Ig domain and reports suggest that a splice variant exists in the gut which is not recognized by clone 10F46. Clone 10F46 is reported to block the interaction of MAdCAM-1 with alpha 4 beta 7. | | | Catalog # | M1275-01B2 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | N/A | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 10F46 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide.
