Specifications

Malt Extract Agar is used for the isolation, cultivation and maintenance of yeasts and molds. Its low acidity inhibits the growth of most bacteria. The high carbohydrate content enhances the rapid growth of fungi and yeasts.
Culture response is expected after 40-72 hours at room temperature.
