| Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 receptor (IGF-II R), also known as cation-independent mannose-6 phosphate receptor (CI-MPR), is a 300kD, 2264aa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the P-type lectin family. The extracellular region contains 15 repeats that mediate homodimer formation and multifunctional binding of IGF-II and many other proteins that do and do not contain mannose-6 phosphates. IGF-II R generally regulates endocytosis and lysosomal/endosomal trafficking. Human IGF-II R shares 85% aa identity with mouse and cow IGF-II R within the extracellular region used as an immunogen. | | | Catalog # | M2255-17B | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA.
