ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:250, 2 hours at RT. Detects a band of ~280kD which corresponds to the predicted MW of MAP2a,b
Immunohistochemistry (formalin-fixed paraffin embedded): 1:100-1:200 20 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
ControlHuman glioblastoma T98G cells or brain.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
