| Human interstitial collagenase matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) is synthesized and secreted by many cells, and plays an important role in a wide variety of pathophysiological degradation processes of extracellular matrices. The enzyme is secreted in a precursor form (pro-MMP-1) that is subsequently converted to active species, and the activity is regulated by the specific tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases (TIMPs). | | | Catalog # | M2420-15B | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
