| During the G1 phase of the cell cycle the MCM proteins, part of the pre-replicative complex which assembles at replication origins, undergo phosphorylation by kinases including cyclin dependent kinase (CDK) and Cdc7/Dbf4 (DDK), although the latter does not appear to phosphorylate MCM5 in vitro. The level of MCM5 is upregulated during the G1/S cell cycle phase and studies have shown a correlation between increasing levels of MCM5 and increased Stat1-mediated transcription activation in response to IFNgamma. | | | Catalog # | M2749-35K | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
