| MCM6 may be involved in the control of a single round of DNA replication during S phase. It binds to chromatin during G1 and detaches from it during S phase as if it licenses the chromatin to replicate. | | | Catalog # | M2749-36E | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | As reported | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | A 31-amino acid synthetic peptide, which represented a portion of human Minichromosome Maintenance Deficient 6 encoded by exon 17 (LocusLink ID 4175). | | Specificity | Specific for human MCM6. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with mouse and rat is likely based upon sequence identity (30/31 identical residues). | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
