| Murine Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (MDC) is a unique | | | member of the CC chemokine family. MDC is highly expressed in | | | macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but not in | | | monocytes, natural killer cells, or several lines of epithelial, | | | endothelial, or fibroblast origin. Recombinant Murine MDC is an | | | 7.8kD protein containing 68 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | M2775 | | Source | E.coli | | Form | The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized with no additives. | | Stability | The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room | | temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted MDC should | | be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. | | Purity | 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. | | Endotoxin | 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). | | Reconstitution | We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to | | a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted | | into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C | | for future use. | | Biological Activity | Determined by its ability to chemoattract human activated | | lymphocytes using a concentration of 10.0-100.0ng/ml. | | Country of Origin | USA | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
