| MRP1 (also known as ABCC, GS-X, ABC29) functions as a multispecific organic anion transporter, with (oxidized) glutathione, cysteinyl leukotrienes, and activated aflatoxin B1 as substrates. This protein also transports glucuronides and sulfate conjugates of steroid hormones and bile salts. It also transports drugs and other hydrophobic compounds in presence of glutathione. | | | Catalog # | M2825-13A | | Applications | | | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | | | Flow Cytometry: 1:20; cell permeabilization is required | | Immunocytochemistry: 1:20-1:50 on cytospin preparations | | Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections | | Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 6D561 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.02mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.7% BSA, 0.1% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified | | Immunogen | Membranes prepared from the human small cell lung cancer cell line H69AR. | | Specificity | Recognizes the linear internal epitope (S918SYSGDI924) of human MRP1 (multidrug resistance-associated protein 1), overexpressed in various human non-P-glycoprotein MDR tumor cell lines. Does not crossreact with human P-glycoprotein, MDR3 P-glycoprotein or human MRP2 (cMOAT) to MRP5, or mouse MRP gene products. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
