| P-glycoprotein is encoded by the MDR1 (ABCB1) gene. It is a member of the ABC superfamily of ATP-binding cassette transporters. Expression of P-glycoprotein is associated with ATP-dependent transmembrane efflux of chemically diverse compounds from the cell. It is the major component of multidrug resistance in human tumors. | | | Catalog # | M2825-14 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
