| P Glycoprotein belongs to the MDR/TAP subfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. P Glycoprotein is an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump expressed in liver, kidney, small intestine and brain. It is responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells. Genetic variation in P Glycoprotein is thought to play a role in patients who do not respond to drug treatment. P Glycoprotein also functions as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier. | | | Catalog # | M2825-14M | | Applications | | | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohisochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml | | Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Formalin): 1-2ug/ml | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
