| Metastasis associated protein 1, or metastasis tumor antigen 1 (MTA1), is expressed in metastatic cells, specifically in mammary adenocarcinoma cell lines. Expression of this gene has been correlated with the metastatic potential of gastric, colorectal, esophageal, lung, and hepatocellular carcinomas. The role it plays in metastasis is unclear. MTA1 is widely expressed in normal tissues like brain, ovaries, adrenal glands and virgin mammary glands. | | | Catalog # | M3884-41A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
