Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified E B IH
The metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) can be placed into three groups based on sequence homology, coupling to second messengers and pharmacological profiles. Group III includes mGluR4 and its two splice variants mGluR4a and mGluR4b. mGluR4a is the principal mGluR4 receptor found in the cerebellum, hippocampus and other regions of the brain. mGluR4 is also believed to be a taste receptor for the transduction of mono-sodium glutamate taste.
