Human MHC Class I (HLA-A, B & C) molecules are expressed on nearly all nucleated cells. MHC Class I molecules consist of heterodimers of a highly polymorphic transmembrane a chain and an invariant b chain. MHC Class I molecules bind to endogenously synthesized peptides of about 8-10 amino acids which are presented to CD8+ T cells. Recent evidence now indicates exogenously derived peptides are also presented by MHC Class I molecules.

Functional Application	Antibody (whole molecule) is cytotoxic in the presence of complement (1).
Applications	Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
	Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
