| The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In mice, this complex is referred to as the histocompatability 2 (H-2) region. | | | Catalog # | M3885-48Q3 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:5; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | X63 myeloma cells with spleen cells from C1D mice. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2b | | Clone No | 10F80 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Mouse | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Purified H-2Kb and H-2Db MHC-I molecules. | | Specificity | Recognizes a monomorphic epitope on the mouse MHC class I antigen. The epitope recognized is conformation dependent and is reported to be phylogenetically conserved. Reactivity has been observed with some canine samples suggesting that this antibody may recognise a polymorphic epitope of canine MHC class 1. Species Crossreactivity: rat, guinea pig, sheep, bovine, porcine, human and hamster. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
