Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityMonomorphic Ia-E. Detects a rat Ia product (mouse I-E equivalent) which appears to be monomorphic. Labels Ia positive cells in the spleen, and B cells, but not T cells, in the lymph nodes. Does not bind to thymocytes or erythrocytes but does bind to cortical epithelial cells and medullary cells in the thymus. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Rat. Not yet tested in other species.
