Description Murine MIG (monokine induced by interferon gamma) is produced by macrophages and other cells and is a member of the alpha chemokine family (C-X-C) of cytokines. MIG acts as a chemoattractant toward monocytes, lymphocytes, and certain T cells. Murine MIG is an 12.2kD protein that consists of 105 amino acid residues.

Form The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized from 3 mM Tris, pH 7.6.
Stability The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at-200C. Reconstituted murine MIG should be stored in working aliquots at-200C.
Purity 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Endotoxin 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug).
Reconstitution We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use.
Biological Activity Determined by its ability to chemoacttract human lymphocytes using a concentration range of 0.1-1.0ng/ml. AA Sequence:
