Mucin-6 (Gastric Mucin) is a large glycoprotein expressed by mucus cells of the gastric epithelium. Mucin-6 is thought to play an important role in the cytoprotection of epithelial surfaces.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohisochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 2-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
