| Mucins are a family of glycoproteins synthesized and secreted by glandular epithelial tissues. To date, nine epithelial mucin genes have been reported. These mucins display differential expression in epithelia with cell-type specificity. Modifications in expression levels and glycosylation patterns of mucins have been described in several cancers. This antibody will help identify and characterize mucin expression in tissue sections. | | | Catalog # | M4700-07C | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
