Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Rabbit Supernatant B
Nephrin (Renal glomenelus specific adhesion receptor) is a kidney glomerular filtration barrier protein that is an essential component of the interpodocyte-spanning slit diaphragm. Nephrin is located only in visceral glomerular epithelial cells, where it is targeted to intercellular junction of mature podocyte foot processes (1). This single pass membrane protein is located in four processes. Mutations in the nephrin gene are
associated with congenial nephritic syndrome (NPHS1) (2).
