Monoclonal Rabbit Supernatant B IH IC
Nerve growth factor-beta (NGF-b) is a potent neurotrophic factor which supports the growth and survivability of nerve and/or glial cells. The active form of human beta-NGF is is a noncovalently disulfide-linked homodimer, formed by two 13.5kD polypeptide monomers (238 total amino acids). The three disulfide bonds are required for biological activity.
Catalog #N2050-06P
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionsWestern Blot: 1:500. Fetal thyroid cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with N2050-06P. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100. Detected NGF-beta in human brain tissue
Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:250
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb
I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb
Positive ControlFetal thyroid cell lysate
