Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects neurofilament, light chain in RIPA lysates from a rat brain microsomal preparation. Rat brain microsomal preparation was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Neurofilament, light chain (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry	Reported by independent laboratories to detect neurofilament, light chain in frozen human Alzheimer’s brain sections and rat brain sections (2,3).
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
