Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Serum B IH
Neurogranin is a 78 amino acid neuron-specific substrate of protein kinase C that accumulates predominantly in dendritic shafts and spines of neurons. Immunoreactive neurogranin has been detected in many brain regions but is particularly abundant in the mammaliam forebrain. Immunostaining is completely abolished by pre-adsorption of the antibody with the immunogen peptide.
Catalog #N2171-45
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunoblot Analysis: 1:10,000-1:20,000 dilution of this lot detected Neurogranin in RIPA lysates from rat brain whole homogenate.
Immunohistochemistry: Has been reported by an independent laboratory to detect Neurogranin in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded mouse brain sections.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
