ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot:1:50-1:500 (ECL) On denatured Western blots of purified bovine NSE the antibody recognizes a single band at ~39kD. On Western blots of whole rat brain lysates a more complex series of bands is observed ranging from 78/80kD (NSE homodimer) to 20kD (gamma-enolase degradation product).
Immunofluorescence: 1:401:80.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:500 (ABC) Dilute if necessary, with 50mM PBS, pH 7.4 containing 1.5% sodium chloride and 1% normal goat serum (if a goat anti-rabbit IgG linker antibody is to be used).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
