Description : Human Neurturin (NTN) and Human GDNF comprise a family of TGF-beta related neurotrophic factor which have trophic influences on a variety of neuronal populations. Neurturin
promotes the survivability of certain sympathetic and sensory neurons through interaction with distinct set of GDNF-like receptors. Recombinant human Neurturin is a homodimeric 23.6kD protein consisting of two identical subunits each containing 103 amino acid residues.
