Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified E
IkB-alpha-A plays an integral role in vertebrate development. In humans, nuclear factor kappa beta (NFKB) complexes are held in cytoplasm and bound to members of the NFKB inhibitor family (IkB). Studies on other animal models and the inactivation of the NFKB pathway show severe defects in embryonic development and prenatal death. One study demonstrated high conservation and compatibility of NFKB and IKB proteins across vertebrate species in utilizing murine IkB to interfere with the NFKB pathway in zebrafish embryonic development. The IkB kinase (IKK) activity, which processes IkB proteins, negatively regulates NFKB and can function as a repressor. Expression: Cleavage: 32-cell (1.75h-2.00h) to Larval:Day 4 (96.00h- 120.00h) in lateral line system, neuromast, periderm, pronephric duct, tail bud, unspecified, YSL.
